A Bourdon Tube Pressure Gauge is a mechanical device used to measure pressure in liquids and gases. It consists of a curved, hollow metal tube known as the Bourdon tube. When pressure is applied inside the tube, it tends to straighten or change its shape. This movement is proportional to the pressure applied. The motion of the tube is transmitted through a linkage mechanism to a pointer. The pointer moves over a calibrated dial to indicate the pressure reading. It is widely used in industrial and laboratory applications. Bourdon tube gauges are known for their simplicity and durability. They do not require any external power source to operate. Overall, it is a reliable and cost-effective instrument for pressure measurement.A Bourdon tube pressure gauge is a mechanical device used for measuring gauge pressure from 0.6 to 7, 000 bar (approx. 8.7 to 101, 500 psi) by utilizing an elastic, flattened tube (C-shaped or helical) that straightens under pressure.
